“Sue started working with my boy when he was 5 years old. He has a global development and intellectual delay. He was pretty much a blank slate had no understanding of anything, he couldn’t focus on anything including people. With a lot of time and patience and trying lots of different things Sue broke through and was able to interact with him, even taught him a couple of signs and how to make choices using visuals. It was a slow ride but her persistence paid off and we are extremely thankful to her.”

“Sue has been my son’s therapist since he was diagnosed with GDD and a severe language delay at around 3 years. With her support and guidance he is now in a mainstream class at school, and is thriving. My son, and his little sister, are always excited to see her, as her approach to therapy is such fun! Would highly recommend her.”

“We have been seeing Sue since early 2016, when my son was non-verbal. Through her hard work and dedication we are now often heard asking him to be quite or to “take a breath”. She has been and continues to be an indispensable part of my sons therapy. I would also go so far as to say she has become an integral part of our family. Her compassionate nature and dedication is easily recognised, we have no hesitation in recommending Sue to anyone who is looking for a speech therapist. ”

“I wanted to personally thank you for all your work. We were doing some spelling the other night and there he was using phonics to try and work out the letters to the words. We thank you so much for all your input into our son. Once again thank you.”

“I consider Sue to be the best of the best. Her professionalism, kindness and expert guidance helped us navigate a challenging time for our daughter’s speech issues - her amazing rapport ensured full engagement from our daughter which had been a challenge. To have Sue on your side feels like you won lottery and her ability to give you straight and honest advice, drawn on years of experience, is truly appreciated.”

“Sue has been working with our family for three years; her standout skills and experience have helped my boys with various communication needs. My boy’s social skills have improved significantly. Their ability to express their feelings has helped with self-regulation and anxiety, which had been a cause for concern before Sue’s intervention. Sue is fantastic with my boys, she has a lot of patience, and the boys like her quite a lot. She makes the sessions fun and engaging making it easy for the boys to learn and succeed. Sue is both professional and personable. I highly recommend her services to any family looking to improve their child’s social, emotional, and communication skills.”
